1
Registration
Spaces are limited; enrollment is not guaranteed unless the class fee has been paid in full. Art supplies are included unless stated.
2
Missed & Make-Up Classes
There will be no refunds for missed classes. Make-up classes can be provided for students in our Level-based classes*: 24-hour advance notice by email is required to receive a make-up class. Make-up classes must be completed prior to the end of the term. It is the parent/guardian’s responsibility to schedule a make-up class with the teacher unless the missed class was due to a school cancellation. There is a limit of 2 make-up classes per term. This limit does not include classes cancelled by the school.
*Make-up classes will not be arranged for Art Camp students.
3
Class & Course Cancellations
LOLART reserves the right to cancel or suspend courses, change teachers or limit enrolment.
Make-up classes will be arranged for cancelled classes, which are due to the teacher's absence or weather conditions. We will do our best to work with your schedule, however, if the available make-up class times do not fit your schedule, the make-up class can be used as a credit towards the next term.
4
Registration Withdrawal
Withdrawing one week (two weeks for camps) before the class commence date, students will receive a full refund (minus a $35 administrative fee for in-person registrations). There will be no full refund for students withdrawing later than that date. Notice of cancellation must be in writing (email account@lolart.ca). A receipt must accompany the refund request. Service Standard: 10 business days
For regular art classes: Students have the option to withdraw before their third class. A written notice (email account@lolart.ca) must be sent prior to the third class to qualify for a prorated refund. For in-person registrations, a $35 admin fee will be deducted from the prorated refund. There will be no refunds beyond the third class.
For Camp withdrawal: At least 2 weeks notice to account@lolart.ca. A $35 admin fee will be deducted from the refund.
5
Photo Release
LOLART reserves the right to use photographs of students and their artwork for publicity purposes. These photos may be published on our social media platforms, and website, or may be posted on other promotional materials. Students will NOT be tagged or identified in any photo without their written consent.
Please note that we archive all photos and works created in our studios. All photographs are the property of LOLART and we do not allow these photos to be published by third-party or any other sources. We value our students, their interests and privacy.
If you don't want your child or yourself to be photographed, please clearly state this in an email to account@lolart.ca.
6
Drop-Off & Pick-Up
All students must arrive on time and all minors MUST be picked up promptly after classes. Late pick-up charges will apply ($5 per 10 minutes, minimum charge $5). If a student arrives late, they will not be given extra time at the end of class to finish their project. The rate for camp extended hours are different, please see our camp page for more details.
Students must be picked up by their parents(s)/guardian(s). A student may only go home by themselves if the parent/guardian gives the teacher written permission via email.
7
Liability
While LOLART staff will exercise all reasonable safety practices and precautions, LOLART or LOLART staff will not be held liable for any type of injury, illness or loss connected with the student's participation in the LOLART programs.
