The LOLART Story
An earlier mentor told Ada, “It’s amazing the work you do. Artists are like cats–wild and free. It’s impossible to train cats while letting them be cats, and yet you did.”
Realizing that teaching is the work of the heart and the mind, the founder, Ada Z. developed the LOLART Method to celebrate all the perspectives of kids, teens, and adults, bringing us together and breaking free from many standard approaches.
It brings consistency and laughter (L.O.L) to every class. Founded in 2002, what started as one wildcat is now a playful clutter of educators. Through this method, we share the same purpose and discover that our precious differences are seen and heard, just like when mighty lions roar.
Our teachers, Anastasia Z., Jose V., Kristine L., and Mariah L. would like to welcome you to our community that’s been serving the GTA for decades.

What is the LOLART Method?
The Lolart Method is our habits and attitudes that activate both heart and mind. It differs by using a whole-brain approach through conversations, performances, and games to keep learners engaged, seen and heard during lessons.
Part 1: LOL (the subjective) is our emotions and perspectives
Part 2: ART (the objective) is our technical artistic goals
In this complex and changing world, what habits and attitudes can shape learners for tomorrow?
-
Gaining confidence to work outside of our comfort zone
-
Discovering the possible with problem-solving
-
Learning new ways to live and adapt to tasks and daily life.
Come LOL & make ART with us!
