Strengthen your artistic voice!

In this Art & Achievement journey, learners build on foundational and advanced art skills, exploring conceptual ideas, sharpening their observational skills, and tackling creative challenges using the elements of art and principles of design to create unique compositions. We foster a collaborative environment where learners are free to experiment with art and celebrate their unique voices and perspectives.

What to Expect

Get ready to hang some masterpieces! Each term includes 3–4 projects, including a big project (acrylic painting and/or clay sculpting). Every project has a theme, and students choose their own story and creative direction within it, building a personal connection to their artwork.

Students will learn to:

• Deepen advanced techniques and observational skills

• Apply the elements of art and principles of design to build unique compositions

• Create compositions that convey a story, emotion or mood

• Explore conceptual ideas and creative challenges

• Present their artwork and discuss the artistic choices they made

• Give feedback on peers artworks in a way that is constructive

• Build on previous lessons, developing a distinct artistic voice project by project
